The route

Starting in San Marino, we will cross the Apennines and make a wonderful loop around the most incredible Tuscany.

DAY 1 (13/06) 60 km: ‘WELCOME TO SAN MARINO’

Rimini pickup – hotel check in - welcome to RIDE 70s clubhouse - tour briefing – motorcycle induction - panoramic warm up ride through the hills and to the enchanting San Leo - overnight in San Marino.

DAY 2 (14/06) 180 km: ‘SAN MARINO TO MONTEPULCIANO’

Through the Apennine Mountains and its twisty roads we’ll enter the marvellous Tuscany and immediately encounter the ancient city of Cortona with its Etruscan protective walls still intact. Onwards into sweet valleys and hills, we’ll head for the superb old town of Montepulciano, where a unique winery tour and wine tasting awaits us. Overnight in Montepulciano.

DAY 3 (15/06) 140 km: ‘MONTEPULCIANO TO SIENA’

Descending remarkable panoramic roads lined with cypress trees we’ll enter the splendid Val D’Orcia. After a coffee stop by the thermal waters of Bagno Vignoni, we’ll continue for the ‘lunar’ landscape of the Crete Senesi, one of the most suggestive areas of Tuscany, called lunar because of its incredibly picturesque bare hills. We’ll end the day with a visit of the legendary Siena, a celebrated UNESCO World Heritage Site, and then a traditional dinner and rest at a beautiful Agriturismo.

DAY 4 (17/06) 160 km: ‘SIENA TO SAN MARINO’

On our last day we’ll ride through the enchanting vineyards and bushes of the Chianti hills, to then continue towards the Val d’Arno (where we’ll experience the famous landscape depicted in Leonardo Da Vinci’s ‘Gioconda’) until we reach Anghiari, the seductive medieval town overlooking the Tevere valley. Finally, we’ll descend towards San Marino, and after a reset at the hotel SPA, we’ll gather again at the RIDE 70s clubhouse for a special BBQ party.
